Mentoring is a simple yet transformative act. Long
practiced by leading executives, educators, athletes and community leaders, it
helps people succeed academically, professionally and personally.
The Inspire Awards, an event to benefit College
Mentors for Kids,
celebrate the efforts of seven individuals and one organization for mentoring,
which have inspired excellence in the workplace or the community. A
Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Alecia DeCoudreaux, vice
president and deputy general counsel of Eli Lilly and Company, for a lifetime
of contributions to mentoring, her dedication to being a mentor, and inspiring
others to mentor. Alecia truly embodies the culture of mentoring and
exemplifies it in the professional, academic, community and personal realms of
her life.
The awards luncheon, held on February 23, 2011 at the
Indiana Roof Ballroom, will be attended by over 400 business, political and
community leaders. For information on sponsorship or attendance, please visit www.collegementors.org/inspire.
Element Three President, Tiffany Sauder, has the
pleasure of serving on the board of directors for College Mentors for Kids.
